2 Veneti Restaurant is a cosy Italian restaurant in the heart of London, introducing our customers to authentic Venetian specialities and honest Italian dining with an understated elegance.
We express our philosophy and love for food with the phrase, “Magna e Tasi, Bevi e godi”,, literally meaning “Eat and shush, drink and enjoy”.
At 2 Veneti in fact the more you eat the less you spend.
2 Veneti presents our love for food and passion for authentic flavours, specialising in the most iconic dishes of a region famous all around the world.
Once the heartland of the Venetian Republic, Veneto is well known to everyone for its historical, natural, artistic, cultural, musical, wine and culinary heritages. It is the home of risotto, polenta, and of course some the best wines produced in Italy today, including the famous Valpolicella, and Soave.
On our menu you will find old favorites such as “pasta e fasoi”, “sarde in saor” and “baccalà mantecato e polenta”, alongside new and innovative recipes created by our chef, and prepared in traditional Venetian style.
For us it’s a great pleasure to present our customers to its culture with and a joyful culinary experience.
What people say about us…
We were looking for a nice Italian restaurant and 2 Veneti looked nice and not too far away. And we were in luck. From the moment we arrived the experience was excellent. The place is very cozy, not too big not too small. Our waiter explained the specials and had a view on what we should try. After having a very nice Italian meal we asked if they had some Limoncello to go with the coffee since was not on the menu. And of course they had Limoncello. Overall al great place to enjoy good food and good company!

“The fringes of Oxford Street are a veritable assault course of Italian tourist traps, & 2 Veneti’s exposed brick, pressed tablecloths & scuffed beech flooring look tailor-made for the area. But accomplished Venetian cookery & a genuinely passionate front of house tell a very different story. Owner Simon Piovesan has been running restaurants in the area for many years, & where he goes, a loyal crowd tends to follow. Their good sense is evidenced by superb homemade spaghettoni with anchovies & onions or a textbook braised duck rag that could rival the best around. Other highlights include seafood simmered in tomato sauce, sardines with onions, pine nuts & raisins, & a superb tiramisu whipped to order & served in a crisp tuile. The regional, all-Italian wine list is another trump card, & well-informed service caps it all.”

“This is very likely the best Italian restaurant in London.”
“The cuisine is influenced by the modern Northern Italian cuisine (as suggested by their name, which translates as “Two Venetians”) and the food- in quality, taste and appearance – is delicious and delightful. High quality products are used to create the most sumptuous of dishes. The wines are superb as well. The menu changes often, so you’re always in for a surprise. The service is professional yet also kind, warm and attentive. My friends from the Veneto area and I are regulars here, which confirms its authenticity. The mood is relaxing and charming. It’s the perfect place for a complete, fantastic dining experience.”
